Set within Oxshott’s renowned Crown Estate, this home was once a tired 1930s-built house with dated features and decoration. The property, which includes a swimming pool and gym extension, needed a top-to-bottom renovation.

OCB were entrusted with delivering something special, working with the project’s interior designer to reimagine the house from the ground up. Over a ten-month programme, with a works value of approximately £1 million, our team has stripped out the existing interiors while preserving the home’s underlying character.

This complete transformation includes new bathrooms suites, as well as a bespoke kitchen and adjoining panty. The gym was entirely rebuilt, and the swimming pool area carefully refurbished into a far more contemporary leisure space.

We have introduced a solar power system with battery storage, so the family can make the most of the energy they generate. A set-up that not only helps keep running costs down but expresses the clients’ wish to live more sustainably, with less reliance on the national grid.

Throughout the property, interiors are being given a complete redecoration, giving a seamless flow from room to room. The result? A home of modern elegance, reflecting the appeal of its prestigious location.
